Kikuyu

Kikuyu is well suited for sunny areas and is a fast-growing lawn.  To obtain the best results, fertilize from the top every six weeks with LAN or 232.  Once the lawn has been laid it requires a period of 10 to 14 days before you can mow the lawn.  For the first mow you need to have your lawnmower on the highest setting.  Thereafter you can mow the lawn as and when required. 

During the establishing period of the lawn, you need to water the lawn every day.  Be sure to water the lawn sufficiently thereafter and during the summer months at least three times a week.
